| The
Centennial Camporee was well attended and there were many
things to do and exhibits to see. Pioneering, rock wall
climbing, bottle rockets, geocaching, K-9 demonstrations,
old badges for sale! The boys and adults had a fun time
and enjoyed the nice weather. Centennial Camporee is a gathering of scouting units from all over the Greater Cleveland Council. An encampment such as this does not happen often. It is a large event filled will all kinds of things to see and do.
Date and Time of Departure: Friday, May 21st, 5:00pm - Old Church Purpose: Gather with other scouts from around the council for fun and new experiences. Location: Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, Berea, OH Directions: Scouts will have a short hike from Rocky River Reservation (southern section) to the Fair Grounds. Cost: $30.00 per scout (permission slip and fee due at meeting on April 20th) Estimated Time of Return: Sunday, May 23rd, 10:00am Items to Bring and Things to know:
