| A few members of the troop took a trip to the Quicken Loans Arena to catch the second scout night of the hockey season. Sullivan C. Goal (our mascot) invited a bunch of his friends from other sports teams to come to the game. It was a great time just checking out all the mascots. During one of the period breaks they all came out on the ice and played broom hockey against each other. What a riot! It was also quite a bargain at the "Q" with $1 hot dogs and $1 sodas all night long. The game was action packed and very close. First period saw only one goal given up by the Monsters. This was pretty good considering the Bulldogs had 18 shots on goal compared to our 4. In the second period the Monsters uped the anti and scored 3 while the Bulldogs scored 2 more making it a tie game at 3-3. During the final period each team scored 1 each, putting the score at 4-4. It was very fast paced towards the end as each team attempted to put in a winning goal, but it remained tied and they went into overtime. Overtime was fast paced, but scoreless taking the teams into a shoot out situation. Unfortunately during the shootout the Bulldogs prevailed. Final score was Hamilton 5 - Lake Erie 4.
