| The troop turned out in force for a terrific weekend of camping. The weather cooperated with sunny days and cool nights. Maybe a little too cool for some. The first night we stayed up late making smores and cooking marshmellows around the campfire. The next morning we woke up to the sound of reville and the Screaming Eagles and Crows patrols each prepared breakfast. There was pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, juice, and a few other items for good measure. After breakfast we performed two small service projects for the nuns at the monastery. Moving furniture to the cabin, moving picnic tables to the camping area and then staining the new tables. When that was finished five members of the troop built shelters as a requirement for Wilderness Survival merit badge. Other members worked on advancement and some had fun riding the wagon down a hill. Members of the troop committee were on hand to complete five boards of review. The rest of the weekend was spent having fun and eating some tasty food. Overall it was a very productive weekend and good to see so many members of the troop out camping.
